The forum provided a review of the top security issues on our horizon, with topics ranging from the U.S. engagement strategy in the Middle East after Iraq and Afghanistan to looking at the trends for the future defense industrial base.

This tribute event at the Embassy of Italy, called "Italian Belcanto in America," included a musical performance featuring Carlo Rizzari, Assistant Conductor at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Italy, and the New York Opera Society Chamber Orchestra.

The reception was in honor of three charities that support servicemen and women.  

The Company recognized Paws for Purple Hearts, The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and The Aleethia Foundtion and officially presented 2 charitable contributions: $650,000 with DRS Technologies to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and $150,000 to Paws for Purple Hearts. 

A check for $75,000 was presented to The Aleethia Foundation during Finmeccanica's 2009 Wounded Warrior Tribute Concert, held on November 7, 2009.
