Events: 2009 Annual Finmeccanica Reception

On October 6, 2009 as part of its longstanding commitment to the U.S. military, Finmeccanica North America hosted its annual reception during the 2009 Association of the Army's (AUSA) Annual Exhibition in Washington, DC. The reception was in honor of three charities that support servicemen and women.

The Company recognized Paws for Purple Hearts, The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and The Aleethia Foundtion and officially presented 2 charitable contributions: $650,000 with DRS Technologies to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and $150,000 to Paws for Purple Hearts.

A check for $75,000 was presented to The Aleethia Foundation during Finmeccanica's 2009 Wounded Warrior Tribute Concert, held on November 7, 2009.
